Perfect Arrangement Posted in: Perfection in Seeming Imperfection

I propose that the jiva (individual soul) is never at odds with God but is always functioning exactly as intended. It cannot be otherwise. It is a perfect arrangement befitting a Perfect God. That we are fallen souls, or for that matter identify ourselves in any other way whatsoever, is simply a construct which facilitates, provides a stage for, a particular flavour of our joint lila. Thus contributing the experiential completeness of God’s self-knowing.

Just as one who is rich and powerful cannot know the lot of the rank and file who are struggling week to week just to make ends meet (think most politicians) similarly God cannot directly know a whole range of experience whilst maintaining awareness that not a blade of grass moves without His/Her sanction. For example how does it feel to lose a loved one, how does it feel to succeed against incredible odds, how does it feel to awaken to self-awareness … etc. etc. … God enters into that knowing as us. And our knowing is His knowing because we are simultaneously one and different from God. He can therefore fully claim our experience as His own. A perfect arrangement!
